Magnaflow Performance Exhaust to Sponsor the Vintage 2.5 Challenge Series

 

 

The Vintage Sedan Racers Group (VSRG) announced today that Magnaflow Performance Exhaust (www.magnaflow.com), a well known maker of high quality performance exhaust systems headquartered in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA., has assumed the title sponsorship of the Vintage 2.5 Challenge race series.  Because of Magnaflow's support of the new vintage race series, VSRG has officially changed the name of the series to the "MagnaFlow Vintage 2.5 Challenge".

 

Jim McAdory, a spokesman for VSRG (www.bsedan.com) stated "we are quite pleased to have a quality firm like Magnaflow assume the title sponsor role of our new series.  Their support has made it possible for us to finalize our schedule for 2001 and we are looking forward to a great vintage racing partnership with Mangaflow".  Peter Nitoglia of Magnaflow stated "Magnaflow is honored and pleased to be able to provide help in making this exciting new vintage race series a reality and look forward to a successful 2001 season".

 

Magnaflow joins the other California based sponsors of Dave Bean Engineering; Alfa Parts of Berkeley, Brecht BMW of Escondido, JAE Parts of Goleta, Sparco USA, HSR-West and BSedan.Com.

 

The new Magnaflow 2.5 Challenge series will be a part of the 2001 schedule of Historic Sportscar Racing-West (HSR-West, www.hsr-westracing.com).  Races are planned for;

 

            March 10-11,  Willow Springs (So. CA)
            April 21-22,    Las Vegas  (NV)
            June 2-3,          Thunderhill (No. CA.)
            July-Aug          TBA
            Sept (TBA)     Laguna Seca (No. CA)
            Oct 6-7            Willow Springs (So. CA)
            Nov 17-18       Phoenix (PIR)  (AZ)
